About the App
The appsec.fyi mobile app provides access to 3,000+ curated cybersecurity resources for security professionals, developers, and students. The app works offline-first with automatic background synchronization.

Frequently Asked Questions
Getting started
Open the app and it will automatically download the latest security resources. Browse the Feed, Topics, or use the Explorer to discover content.
No account required. The app works immediately after installation.
Using content
Tap the bookmark icon on any resource card. Find your saved content in the “Saved” tab.
Use the “Topics” tab to browse by categories like Injection, Access Control, API Security, and more.
The Explorer shows connections between security topics with an interactive visualization of 25 topics and 75+ relationships.
Syncing & updates
Check your internet connection. The app syncs automatically every 12 hours. You can also pull down to refresh on the Feed screen.
New resources are added daily. The app downloads updates in the background.
Technical issues
Try force-closing and reopening the app. If problems persist, restart your device and ensure you have iOS 15.1 or later.
This usually indicates a network issue. Check your connection and try pulling down to refresh.
With 3,000+ resources, initial loading may take a moment. Performance improves after the first sync completes.
